The project aims to examine financial crises from the perspective of micro-motives of agents and the resulting behavior or dynamics. Various theoretical approaches explaining individual behaviors will be considered. The behaviors of agent dynamics will be evaluated using new tools, and an attempt will be made to approach modeling. The ultimate goal is to gain a better understanding of moments of disruption in economic dynamics that lead to crises. From this understanding, guidance can be derived for policymakers during critical moments to minimize negative effects.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Scope of the Study: This project will focus on the study of the implementation of monetary matching rules and currency hedging instruments that facilitate the domestic adoption of a bimonetary scheme in developing economies.<\/p>

Objectives:<\/strong>
To study the implementation of a monetary matching rule by the central bank. To study the development of currency hedging markets in emerging economies, such as currency futures and forwards contracts. To examine the impact of a bimonetary environment on the banking system, credit expansion, balance sheets, loan terms, and overall economic activity. To investigate the implications for the central bank, including the balance of payments, gross international reserves, monetary policy, and credit policies in both local and reserve currencies.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>
