Objectives:
The project aims to examine financial crises from the perspective of micro-motives of agents and the resulting behavior or dynamics. Various theoretical approaches explaining individual behaviors will be considered. The behaviors of agent dynamics will be evaluated using new tools, and an attempt will be made to approach modeling. The ultimate goal is to gain a better understanding of moments of disruption in economic dynamics that lead to crises. From this understanding, guidance can be derived for policymakers during critical moments to minimize negative effects.
